Happy Hump Day Friends,
How is week rocking along? Yesterday was a doozy for me. I taught five Pilates classes and one bootcamp class. Holy hamstrings. Hahaha I had three classes pretty much back to back in the morning and then a short break before my noon bootcamp class. By break time, I was pretty hungry so I decided to whip up a delicious strawberry banana chia smoothie. The hemp protein powder provided extra protein, and the chia seeds boosted the fiber and omega 3 content of this little beauty. The best thing about it was how full it kept me.
Strawberry Banana Chia Smoothie

Ingredients (1 large smoothie)
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 a frozen banana
- 2 tbsp hemp protein powder
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 packet of stevia
- 1 cup water
- 1 large handful of ice
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

After bootcamp, I had a little break in the afternoon before I headed back up to the Pilates studio for my last two classes of the evening.
I started this morning out bright an early with my 5:30am client and followed that with a quick HIIT workout! Check her out......
This workout hit all the major muscle groups of the upper and lower body and skyrocketed my heart rate! I was sweating buckets in no time.
I must admit, I was not feeling like working out when I woke up this morning. I desperately wanted to crawl back under the covers and hit snooze. Sometimes we just have those days! Luckily, we have cute little cartoons to snap us back to reality!
