Happy Wednesday!

How was your Tuesday? Mine was movin movin! I started the morning off with a nice 7 mile run. I lucked out because it was the perfect 52 degrees outside. I began the run a little bit chilly, but by 2 miles in, it felt perfect!

I wanted to add a few new songs to my running playlist to spice things up, but when I went searching ITunes, I came up blank. That's about the time I ran cross the list below from the Huffington Post.

    I was rocking during my entire run! After I got cleaned up, I headed in to work to teach a 10:00am Step N Tone Class. It was a busy busy day in the office so I literally felt like I was running laps around the place all day. When you work in a 3 story gym, that can equal a lot of movement. At 5:30pm, it was time to teach a Dance Cardio Party class. We busted a move big time in class, and had an amazing time! By the time I got to my car at around 7:00pm, I checked out my Nike Fuel Band and these were my stats.

    Not too shabby! Although I did do structured exercise, I burned most of my calories by just constantly moving throughout the day. Little things like going to talk to a coworker instead of sending an email, walking to lunch, parking further away, and taking the stairs over the elevator can really really add up quickly if you make a conscious effort to take the more active option whenever possible.

    I teach until 6:30pm again today, so I threw dinner in the crockpot so it would be ready when I got home. Chicken Taco Chili is on the menu for tonight, and I can't wait to try it!
