TRX + Kettlebell Power Half Hour

Hi Friends,

How is your week going so far? I can't believe it is already hump day. My brain is still on last weekend. I worked Saturday and Sunday morning, but we did get to meet up with some new friends for a little bowling on Saturday night and took the Paddle Boards out on Sunday. There was a little storm blowing in so it was extremely windy. We decided to take the boards out anyways since we were already loaded up. The first 30 minutes (when we were going with the wind) were a piece of cake; however, on the way back it was a whole different story. It was HARD as all get out!! We definitely got a workout! Since we worked so hard, we were both pretty hungry when we got home so we whipped up some kabobs. Turkey sausage + corn + sweet potato for me and new potatoes for E = deliciousness on a stick!

Monday and Tuesday were busy work days for me. I taught three classes on Monday and four classes on Tuesday. I feel so blessed to get to do what I love every day. My 4:45pm Barre class yesterday rocked the house. We had 31 people all working their butts off and sweating buckets together! You could feel the energy in the air. I was literally smiling from ear to ear the entire class. :)

One of my clients is out of town, so there was no 4:30am wake up call for this girl today. Oh sleep, how I miss you! Since I got to sleep in a little bit, I decided a kick butt at home workout was in order to celebrate. My wonderful hubby E bought me my very own 25lb kettlebell this weekend! I love the flexibility of being able to squeeze in a workout at home whenever I have a little bit of extra time and kettlebells are a great addition to any home gym. Between a TRX and a Kettlebell, you would be hard pressed to find a muscle group you couldn't work.

It's fun to kick your own butt from time to time and that is exactly what I did in this total body 30 minute workout! Don't forget to warm up for 5 or so minutes first and take some time to cool down afterwards.

Let me know if you give it a try. After my workout, I refueled with two scrambled eggs and some chia pudding with blueberries and extra ground flax. I was too busy digging in to take a picture so this one is old, but you get the picture. :)

I'm about to head up to the studio to do a little work. I hope you have a great rest of your hump day!
